      What is Included
      • Standard packs typically contain 2 valve heads (yellow plastic) and 6 flexible white membranes. 
      • They are made without BPA and are safe for milk expression.
      Compatibility
      • Compatible with most traditional Medela breast pumps, including the Harmony manual pump, Swing, Pump in Style, and Symphony hospital-grade pumps. 
      • Note: They do not fit Freestyle hands-free collection systems in the same way, which use specialized separate membranes.
      When to Replace
      • Frequency: Medela and lactation specialists generally recommend replacing the small white membranes every 3 to 6 months (or every 2 to 4 weeks if you pump multiple times a day), as silicone stretches and loses elasticity over time. 
      • Signs of wear: Replace them sooner if you notice a drop in suction power, slow milk output, or visible tears/warping on the membrane. 
      Assembly Tips
      • Gently push the white membrane onto the raised circle of the yellow valve head until it sits flat and snaps into place.
      • BPA free – safe for you and your baby
      • Compatible with all Medela breast shields and connectors
