Labels in Europe instruct consumers to boil water. Consistent with that approach, the label for Aptamil recommends heating water first to 160°F (70°C) and letting it cool to approximately 100°F (40°C).

Step 1 - Wash hands and surfaces, pour desired amount of warm water approximately 100° F (40° C) into a clean bottle

Step 2 - Using the scoop provided, level off the powder. Add the correct measure of powder to the water

Step 3 - Mixing instructions require 1 scoop (4.6g) per 1 fluid ounce (30mL) of water

Step 4 - Cap bottle and shake well until powder is dissolved. Feed immediately and discard used formula within 2 hours

Step 5 - Store open and unopened containers in a dry area at room temperature and use contents within 4 weeks of opening
